MISSION

 

The mission of Summerbridge San Diego is to accelerate academic achievement and support all students' social, emotional and leadership development in preparation for high school, college and career opportunities for the 21st century.

Summerbridge San Diego is proud to have one of the best teams in place for a non-profit. From our generous benefactors to our amazing Board of Directors to our dedicated teaching staff and our year-round administration and leadership team, Summerbridge San Diego is staffed with exceptional professionals who go the extra mile to make sure all SBSD students have a safe, positive, and beneficial learning environment and experience. Like our students, our team plays hard and works hard.

 

Our program makes learning fun, challenges students to think critically, creates a college culture and demands a strong mentorship, leadership, and parent involvement.  Our success is due to the passion and dedication of our founders, directors, teachers, staff, and parents who provide support for the elementary and middle students that participate in SBSD.

On behalf of Summerbridge San Diego, we would like to say thank you very much for your contributions!! Thanks to your commitment and love for young people we are able to work with 150 students from San Diego County, 25 teachers, 3 master teachers, and 2 counselors over the course of six weeks to prepare students for transition into the upcoming school year. SBSD prepares students by strengthening and polishing academic and social skills. 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

At Summerbridge San Diego we have an incredibly dedicated and active Board of Directors that works tirelessly promoting, building, and shaping our program so that each summer is better than the last. We are grateful to all of our board members for the  invaluable support they give to Summerbridge San Diego.

The Summerbridge San Diego Executive Leadership Team works year-round to plan, develop, and promote the program.
